Designed as a one day introductory course to explore both the utility and decorative
stitches and specific features of these machines. Discussion will also include the care
and maintenance of your new machine, thread selection and basic sewing aids available.

Designed for individuals with any 2000 series computer range Pfaff
sewing machine, to help you gain confidence using computerised machines.
The general care and maintenance of your machine is discussed as well as all the
various features of the machine.
A hands on approach helps you explore the various
utility and decorative stitches and the combination of such stitches with basic
programming for those machines with memory capability. Sewing threads, needles
and helpful sewing aids are also discussed to help you gain the most from your sewing machine.

| Pfaff Creative 2144 (2 Days) |

A two day introductory course with the first concentrating on the sewing machine and
the second concentrating on hoop embroidery. The basic functions of the decorative and
utility stitches will be examined as well as elongation of patterns, density adjustment,
placement programming and work with the M-memories. There will be in depth programming
with both the decorative and utility stitches. The second day includes basic embroidery,
applique, cut work, template making, programming for the hoop in addition to the general
introduction to haberdashery and embroidery aids.

Segregated into the separate functions of software (i.e. customizing and digitizing) with
hands on approach, each student having their own computer to work on.
Day 1 - Customizing, explores the many font styles, different shapes, hoop selections, fill
stitches composition and combination of embroideries and writing. Template placements,
3D quick views and creative expressions of these features.
Day 2 - Digitizing, explores both quick and selected stitch fill stitches, borders, stitching
techniques (i.e. single, running double, triple and underlay stitches) angle variations, 3D view
as well as editing (insertion, deletion and color change overviews) to help create your
personal embroideries.

Organised as a one day class to use various feet in both utility and decorative capacities.
Many of the feet will have several applications which will be practised and your sample pieces
may then be added to your portfolio. These courses are open to any Pfaff sewing machine owner
and you may choose any individual day to suit your needs.
